AnimeOne has been busy clearly.I visited the IRC channel a few days back after getting back home after one year in Australia.Same bunch of regular chatters still lurking around and thats always a good sign.

What have been going on in here and the AnimeOne fansub scene?

That’s what most people who have been coming to this site have been wondering I bet. Well a good decent amount of releases have been out since my last update and I figured is about time to update for all the faithful fans who visit the site.

Incredibly we have reached 400,000 Hits... Woot and AnimeOne is 5 years old now…ancient by fansubbing standards. We are still around and that’s good to see for the old school peeps like me.

I haven’t downloaded a AnimeOne Ep or any anime ep for 10months and counting since I moved over to Australia. Still I am still hooked to the manga release scene but everything else just doesn’t interest me anymore.
However I am not gonna kill this site cuz of that. I might want to watch anime again one day ^_^

AnimeOne has completed work on Yume Tsukai as well as released the final 2 Ah My Goddess Sorezore No Tsubasa DVD Only Eps. Thus completing 2 really fine series. And at any rate it seems Black Blood Brothers is drawing to a close as well,its only a matter of time now before that and Naruto S1 is out of the way for good :D

AnimeOne has also picked up a new series to play with for the new season,Its called El Cazador de la Bruja also know as the The Witch Hunter. The main plot revolves around this young girl by the name of Ellis who has been suspected of murdering a physicist Heinrich Schneider.Hence She has been on the run from a underground society called “Hunters”. Ellis is tracked down by a bounty hunter by the name of Nadie who finds her but doesn’t turn her in. Instead Nadie decides to help her out and the 2 girls embark on a journey to Ellis Hometown…

Man what an uproar the last post has caused. Btw The Blog Poster was me. In case you guys forgot I am "X" or X^` as I go by on IRC.

Anyway to claify a few matters.I think I should word the term proper by saying that Animeone Naruto doesnt get as much downloads as compared to the speed subbers out that.I need not mention who but in any case most people have already watched Naruto up till 220 which is not AnimeOne's version.And thats fine by me.But its true to say that most people will archive our version onto their DVD'Rs cuz its the Best out out there hands down.

I have spoken to Conan-Kun on Msn and well its pretty much CONFRIMED that AnimeOne will NOT pick up Naruto Shippuuden.

Ok Moving on from the uproar from the eariler post.AnimeOne has released stuff once more and thats always a good thing !!.

It"s been a long time coming as far as I am concerned as I was in the original crew that was subbing Naruto 4 years ago.

Please read what Conan-Kun head Editor of AnimeOne has posted out on Gotwoot:

Dear Alone fans,

After fansubbing Naruto for over 4 years, we regret to inform everyone that we will not be continuing with the series past season one (episode 220). This is for a variety of reasons but the main being that subbing the show is just no longer fun for a lot of the staff members. The show is also a tremendous use of resources for AonE which is hurting our other shows. Naruto Shippuden is not the only show that we are “dropping”, we will also not be continuing with the Gundam SEED Destiny Special Editions. We will however be subbing the Stargazer OVAs. We ARE still subbing Daa! Daa! Daa! so do not fear DDD fans.

By making these sacrifices, we can better concentrate on our current shows as well as possibly a new one that we are interested in. We will be doing everything possible to catch up on our backload and finish some old shows (BBB, SnS III, etc) before the next season begins.

These decisions have not come easy. There have been many heated discussions behind the scenes. We are facing an evolving fansubbing world, and unless we consolidate our resources we will be unable to keep up.

We are still recruiting for staff members, particularly Translators, QC, and TSers. Please see us on IRC in #aone-recruit (on irc.rizon.net) and private message an op.

Regardless of the show, AonE will continue to provide high quality fansubs for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for all your support!

So Naruto will not be done up after this season ends. It"s Sad to hear of this however I totally understand animeone's point of view. Not that many people really watch animeone's version but prefer to archive it instead. I think that"s a bloody waste of resources. With this I think AnimeOne will be able to release more Daa Daa Daa and other shows which are worth watching more.

I havent been updating the blog the last few weeks due to excessive partying and socialising with members of the fairer sex. And it back to school once again over here in Perth.

Yup Summer Break is over however summer itself isnt over in Australia as Feb is gonna be the hottest month. But its been over cast the last few days and I am wondering if the weather has gone nut like it has in the United States Esp the MidWest States with the big chill hitting you guys hard.

Wow it's been a while since my last posting and we're a bit behind in the blog postings. We finally finished Fate stay night, and we're all caught up on Hellsing episode 2 now. Our h264 encode for episode 2 is coming shortly.

Hey all,

I've been fansubbing for 5 years. I don't recall, my first group was some VHS fansub group back in the good ol' days... 1st digisub group was with AnimeJunkies for a brief time, the big split happened where everyone left Killshok and moved to XenonFansubs where I handled distro, editing, qc'ng for a year. The final 3.5 years was with AnimeONE where I became qc'd grunt, and QC leader a year later or so. When our founder retired, I was elected as Vice-President and became project leader for many projects that I could handle.

This all occurred while I was finishing up chiropractic school and entering into med school. How I pulled it off? It helps to work with a great team who's very professional. I also give thanks to Anime Kingdom, clearly the best group I've ever had pleasure working with. We were one damn well oiled machine. Consistently 36 hours from grabbing raw to release. My other thanks go to Anime Yuki, it was a bit rocky in the beginning for AMG Season 1, but I was impressed how fast your team learned to reach our level and tolerated my constant lashings from my whip. Season 2 was nice a smooth ride... although it could have been much better without that raw capper in Japan issue. Well, I'm finishing up my 4th year of med school and entering my residency soon... for those who know... yeah, my career in fansubbing is over. I will officially have no life. What better way to retire than to finish with Belldandy.

This doesn't mean good-bye for good... I'll poke my head in from time to time. Hopefully, if the docs can bestow their mercy upon me... perhaps someday, you'll see me fansubbing AMG Season 2 OVA when it may come out next year...

Till then... enjoy our recent release of Yume Tsukai ep 3 in HD and the final episode of AMG Season 2 episode 22. We also made things easier by batching up AMG S2 1-22.

Two new releases today with AMGS2 21 and BBB 3!

We're only one release away from the end of season two for AMG. It's hard to believe! We hope to release episode 22 in the next few days, thus completing the season. We haven't heard if there are any new unaired episodes coming out only on DVD but if they are, we will probably be releasing those.

Black Blood Brothers is continuing with this new episode titled "Kulong Child." The show is getting rather interesting. If you haven't started watching, this is a great time to start since we've only done three episodes so far. It's a vampire series but there is a lot of humor and drama in it, so it's enjoyable even if you don't like horror.

Hey gang,

We released Fate/Stay Night episode 23 today, just 1 left to go to finish this series off.

To reply back in the comments recently... apparently some narutards were confused. The offical stance is this... AnimeONE has been subbing Naruto since episode 1 to the current 191. We have never started mid-series. That said, Bonkers was kind enough to create a new Naruto batch for 176-191.

One new show down! More to come!

That's right. We've released the first two episodes of one of our new shows: Black Blood Brothers. This is another vampire show but it doesn't seem to be very horror-like such as Hellsing. It's more of a comedy and action anime. Ending is very pretty, and it's not even in Japanese (it's in Korean). More episodes are on the way. Enjoy!

We're working on finishing up AMG and Fate soon. We have one other new show coming as well as some stuff we've been working on for a while and just never announced. A hint: It's the sequel to a show we've already completed.

Hi, everyone. A few things to update you on. First, we have released Ah! My Goddess S2 20. This season ends at episode 22, so only 2 more eps left! We've heard some rumors of a season three but not for another year.

Second, the Yume Tsukai team is re-releasing the eps they've already done with better raws and with h264 encodes. So far episode 1 and 2 have been done and 3 and 4 are on the way.

Third, a few people have been asking about Daa! Daa! Daa!. We are still working on DDD but do not expect any episodes in the near future. We won't make you wait too long. Sorry for the delay, but more Ruu-chama is coming.

Some other updates on our shows:

Naruto: More soon. Sorry for the delay.
Hellsing ep 2: We are doing this. Expect episode two relatively soon.

We have some new shows coming up. More information will be coming as we release episode 1. :) One new show should be releasing very soon, so otanoshimini (Look forward to it!)

Hey folks,

We, at AnimeONE, have a nice competition amongst ourselves... To see how many episodes we can release in one month. The current record for this year is July with 27 releases, and we weren't even trying. We're currently at 10 releases for this month. ZOMG Mass Naked...I mean Mass Naruto Release!!!

We delayed last weeks release so we can have a huge 8 ep batch this week. Episode 172 completes the required space so you can finally burn to DVD which everyone has been waiting to do.

This also marks the point where the two AonE Naruto teams finally meet up even though they were made up of basically the same people. We are only 10 eps behind the TV series! And with the momentum we've achieved this month I expect that in 2-3 weeks time you'll have an alternative group to download the recent Naruto episodes from.

Also our guest encoder Shock from Anime-Kraze is done for now since DeathWolf is back from Japan. Be sure to thank Shock for a job well done and for filling in the encoder spot.

Due to constant harrassment from kimbap629 and similar noobs, members of Aone and AnY were demoralized and suffered excessive mental and emotional stress, trauma, and abuse. Just to keep you guys appraised... there are factors that are beyond our control for AMG Project. Issues that plagued full screen raws have started to appear in wide screen raws. As a result, there is additional delay in getting good quality raws and cleaning them up. So, don't bitch about when the next AMG ep will be ready... it all depends on the folks in Japan, not us.

Well it looks like X^` has decided to hand the blog control over to me for the time being and I hope to do as good of a job as he did about keeping it updated.

Anyways on to the news, we had a few Naruto releases yesterday and there are plenty more to come. Expect batch releases every week or two hopefully if the momentum we have achieved remains.

As I did mention before that I will be quiting the fansubbing scene due to studies.I think most people who also visited our IRC channel should have seen my nick around in the oper lists the last few days as well.I am not going back on my decision to quit subbing.I will be lurking around at times till the 15th of July,As I will be flying to australia on that day.The University OC3 is metered hence I cant downloaded unlimited GB's of stuff like I have doing the past few years .With over 2.8 T worth of anime and god knows what other crap burnt away in my cd/dvd collection I gonna miss leeching gigs of stuff day in and day out. I might drop by from time to time after which. Still havent decided on what to do with this blog but it will be around but I might not be the one posting the latest updates.[ Ed:KIV that still ]

After 4 long years in the fansub scene I have decided to call it quits till further notice due to impending University studies and a total lack of interest in fansubs at the moment.

There isn"t much interesting stuff out there nowadays and the fan subbing scene has becoming incurably like a bloody speed subbing arena with all kinds of Crap fansubs being released and idiots bugging u day in and out to release stuff at a faster pace.

Well that"s not what"s it"s about hence I decided to stop wasting my time doing fansubs and time to get my degree with my head screwed on tight.

As for this blog I might keep it going but I might not have the inside scope of animeone that I enjoy now.KIV that thought till much later.

Man... the last few weeks have been weird to say the least.My lcd screen died on me and I had to get it repaired.But thankfully it was under warranty by philips.Yay. Will be getting it back next week monday.

I also got myself a new laptop O_o.. from Dell.Its a Latitude D820.Its kinda heavy at 3kg but its got the new centrino duo chip in it and with 1gig ram installed and a 100Gig Hdd in it.

Going to bring this laptop over to australia for studies in July and hopefully its powerfull nuff for me to watch anime and do fansubbing ! :D.The whole thing set me back about $2804(1755US$) Hah :O.My 9Cell Batt only can last 4.5hours tops argh...I miss my desktop already

AnimeOne went full swing on this massive release bash we had today with six releases to know about

As I have posted a month plus ago I mentioned that I was working a number of Ova's for animeone and 2 for them finally got released after successful Qc.Go Team ^__^

One of the releases will be IRC ONLY that's cuz of Bandai holding the license for the show. Its the final ep of the OVA Yukikaze.

Animeone Has spent 4 years Subbing this show with the first 2 eps as a joint with ANBU and eps 3-5 as solo AnimeOne only project and its team member Kurenai-X last few fansubbing works before he retired from the scene back in Dec 2005.

As most people would know AnimeOne has never been able to catch up with the crap speed fan-subbers out there due to our stance on quality over speed always. And we were like 18 eps behind on naruto [Ed: Or something along those lines].

We decided to break up our naruto subbing team into two groups, with the influx of new members in animeone we are hoping to speed up subbing of Naruto during this damn Filler season. We are still waiting for the anime to get back on track as per the manga.Naruto Manga is up to chapter 302 and the anime has at least 80 chapters worth to catch up on.

Hence we decided to release Naruto 159 along with 173-175 together today.We will continue to do 160-172 while we do 176+ at the same time.Expect the same old Hq AnimeOne subs as per usual from both this 2 teams :P

So whats is Fate/Stay Night About ?
Basically Fate/stay night is about events the life of a high-school boy, Emiya Shirō, [Ed:THE WIMPy Hero] who lives in Fuyuki City. At a young age his parents died in a fire and he was adopted by Emiya Kiritsugu, an enigmatic man who called himself a sorcerer. Eventually, Kiritsugu passed away as well.[Ed: DIDNT I SEE THis SomeWhere Before O_o]

Unknown to him and the rest of Fuyuki City, their city is the battleground for a secret war. When the time is right, sorcerers from near and far gather with their Servants - the summoned spirits of heroes so mighty they exist outside of time - and fight a war for possession of the Holy Grail, a relic said to grant its owner a wish. The true names of the Servants reveal their weaknesses, and so they are usually referred to by a classification of type instead; Saber [Ed:Hawt], Archer, Rider, Berserker, Lancer, Caster, and Assassin.

I have been traveling the last 2 weeks so could not get on a pc to update. And the pc's in the cybercafes I visited had keylogger software rootkits installed so hehe not gonna be a dummy like the other idiots ;p.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children By AnimeOne is out and done with.Hmm Not Really the x264[h264] version will be out anytime now as well

We Released the Xvid version first due to that fact there are people out there still using p3's and those slow stuff.. U need a Min of 1Ghz to play x264 encodes

Sup Mofo"s... Hows the week been? Good good. Anyway this week it"s the FF7AC week. What do u mean u don't know WTF is FF7AC is?

Final fantasy Advent Children has got to be the most over hyped OVA/Movie of all time and trust me waiting for more then a year for this day has been totally worth it.

But the best is yet to come and this week our Super Fan boy TNM has brought the aone l33t crew together to fansub the Movie using SHQ DVD9 Source Raw. Implementing all the skills that the crew possess,we are gonna bring the house down to all the posers/noobs who are gonna release sub-par versions of this Excellent movie.

So hang tight u Crazy Mofo"s Cuz the Aone fan-subbing machine is back with a bang on this one [ Lets Not Talk about other projects now !!] ... Damn right it"s due out next week everywhere. So for the R1 DVD... Blame Sony for the delay damn it!!

As most visitors know. Animeone has been lacking lately in terms of releases.
IRC channel users have asked us if projects such as Naruto, Aquarion and Full Metal Panic 2 had been dropped by aone.

Let me assure the leechers that such an action has not been taken and thus future releases of the above mentioned series will continue on from aone and its partners.

Space Symphony Maetel had a Codec change in the latest Ep. A beta codec format x264 has been used in this release. Viewers might have problems playing this Ep without the software to decode it. The Mp4 format has been called future format for all anime eps however we shall have to see about that. People were saying the same thing about mkv a year ago and I don"t think u will see many groups releasing their stuff in mkv notincluding the DVD rippers.

What is x264 [h264]?

x264 is a free library for encoding H.264/AVC video streams.It is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, but this license is incompatible with the MPEG-LA patent licenses in jurisdictions that recognize software patents.

x264 can be played after downloading Ffdshow codec and MatroskaSplitter.

For Ffdshow: During installation,Choose Video decoder - H.264 enables x264 playback.
